Brief History
This site was started in February 1999 by "Hudge", for a long time it lived at www.misbourne-vssu.org.uk as the website of the MISBOURNE VENTURE SEA SCOUTS, but when the new programme was launched by HQ and we had to change our name to the Misbourne Sea Scout Explorer Unit, we decided that instead of changing the "vssu" we were just going to lose it and become www.misbourne.org.uk. The site became very popular after February 2002, when we started recieving about 30 visitors a day.
This is currently the 5th major design/look of the site, and it has been in existence since March 2005.
Details
The site was designed by Ollie, borrowing lots of code from Harry's version to ensure we didn't lose any data. The site is written mostly in PHP, and is kindly hosted by TSO Host.
